Select from two different types of backgrounds on Scoot: Abstract and Image backgrounds or create and upload your own to reinforce your messaging and imagery.
Abstract Backgrounds
Abstract backgrounds on Scoot use viewport effects to create the illusion of movement as you traverse the space. Choose from one of our 30+ available backgrounds including various seasonal and themed options. 
Image Backgrounds
Image backgrounds are true to size in the room. This means that these backgrounds do not move as you traverse the space. Select from one of our stock image options including themes for several Co-Working Spaces, Information Halls, and Product Showcase spaces. 
Uploading your Own Background
Uploading a background in Scoot is a simple three-step process:
1. Click on "Create a background" from any room in hte Scootaverse you are working in:
2. Use the color picker to select a background color:
3. Select a background option and upload your images.
- Color Backgrounds will use only the color you selected.
- Viewport effects will allow you to select up to three images to layer over each other and tile to create viewport effects.
- Image Backgrounds let you upload a single image. Note that it must match the size of the room.
